Presenting ZeroMethod's new website! We are still smoothing out the edges. Let us know what you think. close

We are artists, designers, developers, engineers and writers all working together to push beyond the boundaries of traditional business and seek out new possibilities through the power of the Internet.

Limits are but our dreams.

Our Company

ZeroMethod is not and never will be a faceless company.

We are living, breathing humans with a big love for the Internet, and an even bigger love for designing and developing for it.

We are not afraid to stand by our talents and stick to our guns.

But, we are also constantly seeking anything better, always willing to learn something new and adapt to the changing times.

Using no way as way; Having no limitation as limitation.

These are the honored words spoken by a great and selfless person. This is the spirit behind ZeroMethod.

Sometime in…

November 2009

ZeroMethod began. The initial reason for forming the company was our desire to realize more personal freedoms and to make full use of our creative talents in overall product development. It started with an effort to develop 2Checkout payment module solutions for various shopping cart software.

February 2010

Realizing the broader possible opportunities, we shifted the company’s focus to encompass general client-based design and development services, making it a full-service web solutions provider instead of just a niche payment module developer.

March 2011

Feeling ready to create a web software product of our own, we shifted the company’s focus again so that it not only a web design and development service for clientele, but it was also a web production studio with the potential of creating whatever we could imagine.

October 2011

Having experienced more of both sides, we decided ZeroMethod was going to focus on building web and software products that help people unite with technology, while still offering client services only as a premium facility.

March 2012

After our first official product entered the design phase, and after we had extensively researched a fairly large number of future product ideas, we settled on our first 5-year Company Roadmap, officially establishing the company as a web production studio.

1

Open & Honest Company.

We embrace transparency wherever practical. Honesty is how we play this game, without compunction. All company information is public. We are not afraid of being honest with ourselves, our employees and our customers.

2

Evolution & Agility at Heart.

We think Bruce Lee had the right idea when he put together the art of Jeet Kun Do. Using no way as way; Having no limitation as limitation. Sustainability cannot be attained by staying rigid. We believe in swiftly adapting our business model to accommodate for the rapid changes of technology. All company processes, documentation and even vision are subject to a continuous evolution toward a better, stronger company.

3

Create with Love & Harmony.

If our name is on the product, it will be nothing less than our very best. There is never a good excuse for poor design, development or content. We love what we do, we care deeply about what we create, and we thoroughly consider how our products and decisions affect people.

4

Don’t Screw Anyone.

When we set out to make a decision that affects our customers, colleagues or employees, before making any moves forward we first ask ourselves if the decision will be a detriment to anyone. If the answer is yes, then we must find a better solution.

5

Build Together, Learn Together.

We want our employees to belong to a company that is made great because of the sum of its parts–or rather, its people. We believe in becoming friends with every person working with us, and from those closer ties we nurture an environment rich in perpetual education and vibrant creativity.

6

Stay Mobile. Stay Free.

We believe in working wherever work can comfortably be accomplished. Lack of a pleasant work place will always lead to poor quality work. We feel work should be something that enriches your life, not something that makes you feel like you wasted your life.

Our Quest (Roadmap)

As a company, our goals are to:

  • Help people unite with technology.
  • Maintain sustainability through a strong product line.
  • Garner authority within the industries that our products serve.
  • Nurture a reputation for honest and elegant work.
To help us reach our goals, we have set out to complete a series of projects. Our research across all potential project ideas thus far indicates that the following is currently our best course of action:

2012

  1. NotAlwaysBrilliant.com

Professional blogging website for our very own Director of Development, Brian Schlesinger.

    STATUS: Released

  2. CloudRaptor.net

Professional blogging & invention presentations website for our very own Director of Engineering, Zeppelin Vuong.

    STATUS: Released

  3. ChaosReactor.com

Part-professional, part-entertainment. It’s a chaotic mix of both worlds and everything in between. From the twisted imagination of our very own Director of Design, Simba Ryan.

    STATUS: Released

  4. ZeroMethod.com

Professional portfolio website for our business itself. It’s what you are looking at right now. Isn’t it pretty awesome?

    STATUS: Released

  5. LarryHochman.net

Creative professional portfolio website for the esteemed composer and musician, Larry Hochman.

    STATUS: Under Development

  6. Blocket Science

Block-logic circuitry simulator and educational tool for mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and the Windows Phone.

    STATUS: Designing & Prototyping

2013

  1. GosuGear.com

Social e-commerce website focused on nurturing and selling unique inventions / niche products that are made by people whom are passionate about creating innovative things and helping others through their creations.

    STATUS: Researching & Planning

  2. MateriaNet.com

Game hosting made so simple and cheap, no one will even consider throwing together a rickety, old in-house game server anymore. Support for a multitude of games, including servers for Valve and Mojang games.

    STATUS: Researching & Planning

  3. Codename: Birdwars

Before the likes of Angry Birds and all the knock-offs came about, there existed the desire as far back as 2006 to create a lineup of web & mobile games inspired by Simba Ryan’s very own two birds and their adorably insane antics. With the advent of HTML5 and HTML5-enabled devices, creating such a lineup of multi-platform games finally becomes a reasonable possibility. There are currently 3 total games planned under the Birdwars codename, however only 1 of those games is planned for completion in 2013.

    STATUS: Researching & Planning

2014

  1. Codename: Magicus

Take your Magic: The Gathering social outing to a whole new level. Imagine a free web service to keep track of decks, set up & attend events, record tournament or casual game stats, follow friends, and SO much more. A mobile app for interacting with the web service is also planned.

    STATUS: Planned / Waiting

  2. Codename: Mysticus

From the collective imaginations of ZeroMethod comes a game for both the web and mobile devices that will take you for a ride like you haven’t experienced since the days of Myst and Riven.

    STATUS: Planned / Waiting

2015

  1. Codename: Kompanies

Ever wanted to give a company some kudos for doing something awesome, but wasn’t sure how? Soon, you will be able to! This idea focuses on POSITIVE reviews of a company, while redirecting negativity to the more appropriate outlet (such as the BBB instead of our web service).

    STATUS: Planned / Waiting

  2. Codename: Mobile Rover

Let’s face it. There really is no perfect solution for the mobile office professional. The Internet provides so much possibility for business people to interact remotely, yet nothing out there seems to completely cater to mobile business itself. That will soon change with this project, because ZeroMethod needs a better way to operate, and so do you, dear mobile professional.

    STATUS: Planned / Waiting

2016

  1. Codename: United Gamers

A completely fresh take on earning in-game rewards: Do something for your community, get credit for it from whomever is supervising your good deeds, and then get prizes and other unlocks in participating games.

    STATUS: Planned / Waiting

As more resolution is gained on each project, this above roadmap will be updated. We wouldn’t want to keep you out of our loop! If you are interested, we typically will update this page every month, so be sure to check back here to see what we have planned.

Don’t forget that we also update our blog a lot more often than this page!
